Rob,
Go to files\Classes section and download gridx.zip (Title "Two grid classes"). One class is current row highligthed grid. Either directly use the class or check its code to implement yours. Basically what's done is to have a custom grid property to keep current recno and match it with recno() in dynamic* expression.
