I suppose at this point that users of your CD must be running an install from it to put, at least, VFP300.ESL or VFP500.ESL in the system folder. We are using WIN NT 4, and everyone's system folder is on the c: drive. My main user is very annoyed that she can't log on elsewhere and use the apps. I guess that problem is not even related to use of a CD. But it does seem nice to put as little as possible on the hard drive, unless it runs a lot slower. Disk space is not really a problem.

The basic support set must be installed on the user's system - especially since some of this set is part of Windows itself. Also, the Registry must know of the application's existence. Thus, an install procedure must be run on any machine that uses the VFP application.
