Yup! Thanks. Funny thing is when I modified the structure of the table to put the rule in, I was getting the same error. When I unchecked the option to compare the rule against existing data when exiting the MODIFY STRUCTURE, I did not get the error. From then on the rule worked. Now there's a GOTCHA! [VFP6 SP3]
