Joshua, do you need to be able to recover your original value from the value stored in the table?

BTW, presumably you will arrange it so that a different value gets stored for each different registration.

DataFlex uses a system where the registration code is based on an embedded User Name. Change the registered name and the code won't match. This means if I give an entire system to a friend that my name will print on all of their reports.
