Thinking "outside the box" is a skill that is very useful.
I took a class in logic in college where we proved things like
!(A and B) = !A or !B.
The proofs were a lot like what you may have done in Geometry where you apply a rule to get from one line to the next. The course was worthwhile.
>Works for me! Now that's what I call abstract thinking. Usually I am the one that's accused of that type of thinking. I always seem to find a unique way of doing things. Thanks for that pointer. I printed your response for future reference. I can apply what you told me tomorrow morning. It should help to shorten some of my comparisons.
