I must be the one who missed something ;-) Or, rather, read more into the message than was there < g >. Re-reading what he said, I realize that he never said he was adding the checkbox at runtime. I just assumed that he was. Otherwise, why would he not set the column's CurrentControl to be the checkbox in the form designer?

Also, since he said he set the CheckBox's visible property to true in the form's init, I assumed he was adding it via ADDOBJECT() because when objects are added that way, they are not initally visible.
