You might want to hack the frx file. Open the frx as a table and change/enter the COPIES = 1 expression in the EXP field of the first record into the oppropriate number. Then run the report.
The best strategy is to copy the oriniginal frx into a temp table change the expr field, then run the report and destroy it afterwards.
I don't know if this works in all circumstances, but it's worht a try.
