I found out that if the database contains more than 3000 records in, it will takes more than ten minutes to scan the database and do other necessary procedures within scan (like copy fields). Which I don't think it is efficient for other user to wait ten minutes to see the output.

A few points to consider:

1. Do you have a tag for the SCAN condition?
2. Does your alias part of a relation
3. Is everthing optimizable?

There is definitely something which slows down the entire process unless your process for each record is extremly huge.
