>I have an executable that I run on two machines with the data stored on a server. When I open a form on one machine the table opens up fine with no errors. When I open it up on the other machine I get the message that this table is in read only mode and is not editable. Even if the other machine doesn't have the executable running, the one user always gets the message. It only happens on the one machine. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Check the access permissions on the share - the odds are that the second machine does not have write privileges to the share.
