You have a couple ways to go. All of them go thru ODBC though.

The first way is Sql Pass-Through (SPT). Using this method, you create SQL statements which you send to SQL Server thru ODBC.

The second way is to use Remote Views. With this method you create a view in VFP which is linked to a table in SQL Server. You can link 1 view to more than 1 table, but it gets much more difficult. If more than 1 table is involved, SPT will probably work better.
