He though it was the perfect C&W song until someone pointed out that he didn't say anything about Momma, getting drunk, pickup trucks or trains. So he wrote one last verse to make it the perfect C&W song. It went something like this:

I was drunk the day my Mom got outta prison.
I went to pick her up in the rain.
But before I got to the station in my pickup truck..
she got runed over by a danged ol' train!
