>During my programming retreat in Alabama last weekend I did some serious country music listening (I don't usually listen to country).
>
>Here are a few choice lyrics I wrote down, mostly bits and pieces of several songs. I may not have all the words just right, but this is pretty close:
>
>1) She's the only one who really understands what gets me -- she thinks my tractor's sexy.
>
>2) Even if it kills me, I'm gonna smile.
>
>3) Tonight the heartache is on me.
>
>4) (about love): This ain't no thinkin' thing. It ain't left brain, right brain, it's deeper than that.
>
>5) I'm chasin' that neon rainbow and livin' that honky-tonk dream.
>
>6) It took me by complete surprise when my heart got lost in those deep green eyes.
>
>7) You don't look like my type, but I guess you'll do.
>
>8) I'm feedin' the dog and sacking the trash, It's honey do this and honey do that. I sobered up and I got thinkin' -- Girl, you ain't much fun since I quit drinkin'.
I used to listen to country a lot but quit listening when they got to sappy and wailing too much. But the sad thing is, I can probably name all of those songs :)
Spendin' way to much time near a radio!
