I don't have much "personal" contact with people here. Very few private emails. I think my sense of community would be stronger(its already pretty strong, but why not go for the moon?) if I were to either a. chat with more people, or b. do more private emailing.

I can't chat with people from work, since the chat function doesn't work thru wingate and I couldn't get Mirc to work either.

I would like to be able to find people that I would be interested in private emailing, and to this end, it seemed like it would be handy if I could search for people that had similar experience to mine.

Could we add some more fields to the search for a person option that might include some of the background information that we give in our personal profiles?
