Mike,

Not sure about MSDE, but with SQL Server you can use the Enterprise Manager (Start, Programs, Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, Enterprise Manager) to create/maintain database, tables, stored procedures, etc. through the interface.

If this is not what you are looking for, I can send you some sample code to create database, tables through SQL passthru with VFP.
