Microsoft says this behaviour is "by design" -- like some folks sat around and said "hey, if we is they have fetching on a view at 100 (and that view has more then 100 records) and then they re-hit the server for another view, let's put a connection busy error".

It should be an ODBC issue. I wonder if ODBC drivers other than MSFT are doing the same....
