Hi All,

Quick question... We are creating a new app in visual 6, and got onto the topic of long file names and VFP. It was almost a 50/50 split, half for long file names, and half for the old 8,3 standard. What problems, if any, might we encounter with the use of long file names. I know that free tables cannot use them, but are there any other naming limitations for file names. I did check MSDN, and it was kind of noncommittal in my opinion. Any feedback would be appreciated.
