Perry,
>Seriously though, where do you find the time for all these books. I have purchased a couple based on your recommendations, some I just purchased cause I needed them. Now I have at least 5 books sitting at my bedside. I think I'm reading less cause I'm overloading myself.
I guess that depends on whether you're reading just to keep learning, or reading because you've gotta find the answer RIGHT NOW for the current project. For the past 3 weeks I've been coding and reading non-stop 18 hrs a day due to the need to learn many new things quickly.
Right now I have spread out in front of me: 2 books on DHTML, 1 on Style sheets, The Hacker's Guide (always nearby), Booth/Sawyer's Effective Techniques, Stahl's Web Applications, and for recreational reading (*g*) Mary Kirtland's "Designing Component-Based Applications". All of them have contributed something to the current project.
