It is not that the Activate event is not working. The thing is, the event also fires when I move to another window then return to the original.

I have codes that reset and query contents of combo boxes outside the pageframe. And, I wanted these codes to be executed only when the user selects another page. I don't want to put these codes inside the Activate method.

I think as you've suggested, Assign method will just do the job. I have not used it before but I have some general ideas of how it works.
