>OF course by the time I've caught up, I forgot everything I read in the beginning and have to start all over again.

Well that's kind of like real life at times... several distractions and emergencies, then you go back to the app in development and don't even recognize the code!

>They want a web page fast, so I think the quickest way is to use the Form to DHTML converter. We can force the users to Explorer.

Whether it's quickest depends on how much complex processing the form needs to do, I guess. I've found that putting up lots of "drill-down" lookup/listings that lead to other listings or detail pages is a great way to get a functional site up, and very simple to sling together in a first cut with wwShowCursor and its ShowCursor() and ShowRecord() methods.

Entry of user data, validation of it, and etc is a bit more involved, but even there the new Edit and Save parts of wwShowCursor can get you part way there, and ready for tweaking.

I haven't done anything yet with the form to DHTML, although it looks great for simple processing.

>So I've put the ASP book on the side also.

Probably just as well since you've got WC.

>>The good news is all of the new book purchasing in the last year caused me to go thru my library. Especially since some of these books (Hacker's Guide) are very thick. I tossed a bunch of Fox 2.0, DBASE III, Access 2.0 books out the door.

Ouch. Somehow I just can't seem to part with all those old manuals. I guess I inherited my mom's pack-rat mentality: "Well, I might need it some day".
