It depends on how and where you are going to use that formula. I store formulas in VFP memo-fields encoded with Corel Ventura tagging. That way the text can be transported to Ventura without change. I also publish in HTML-format and there I have to change (programmatically) all the Ventura codes into HTML-codes. In the future I'll change all the encoding into XML, but XML isn't yet usable in a publishing environment.
