If I were you, I would also head up to www.Hentzenwerke.com and check out some of the excellent references and pick up one or two. The best "How to" book that I ever found for people making the leap to O-O from a 2.x background is Whil Hentzen's Programming Visual Foxpro 3.0. Even though it is a couple of versions behind, the concepts and 90%+ of the samples still apply. I believe that his newest book (I forget the title) is the updated verion of the earlier one.
