The truth is mostly in favor moving to 6, now that SP3 is out (before SP3, I would've said "not yet" to 6). There are a few little things that may cause problems in migrating some apps as David mentioned, to be candid, but I've fixed them all without a great deal of effort - and my largest app went very smoothly, and there are fixes for everything he mentioned. I would strongly recommend moving to 6. One of the main reasons is development stability - vfp6 SP3 is much more stable in my experience than vfp5, and light years ahead of vfp3..
