Shoot! Now I remember why MY century setting was turning off each time I ran a form... I can't remember the details, but I think it's to do with creating a new object and scoping to that object means brand new defaults... In my load routine (actually in Drew Speedies' framework), all SETS are setup... because I run private datasessions...

I've just standardized this in the basic form I've subclassed, so it filters through to all forms i build.

your last statement is SO true... the more I learn, the more I don't know!
