I can't say that I have received that particular error and I am not using ODBC on this project but when I have used it in the past I have seen Fox report errors that it could not interpret from ODBC. This could be a connection error or a data error. Have you tried opening the view and copying a record from the command window? If you have gotten part of the data could your connection be timing out? Is the error occuring because of a "corrupt" reocrd on the HP? Don't know if any of this will help but ...
