yes, u are oversimplifing.. when (if you are unlucky/lucky enough) to get invovled with 3rd party arrangements, there is yet another whole kettle of fish to be fried/baked/broiled or sushied! you try to give you fixed cost quote taking these sorts of situations into account (never completely succe$$fully however). this particular 3rd party and i have had this argument several times over and on the whole, we have a pretty good working relationship (more profitable than going to war!).

so i try to educate him, and makeup the shortfall when i can!
