>>>Until a few days ago I never had a problem compiling an executable, but now I do. Fox says it's building the executable, but when it's done it's an .app. This happens on only two of my many projects, but they're the two I've been working on most recently. What could be causing this? It started after I did a supplemental installation to include the setup wizard. Should I be using the setup wizard now? I'm confused! HELP!!

>>This means the EXE build has not been completed. If you look at the disk directory where the EXE is being built, you will see that Visual FoxPro first creates an APP, then it turns into an EXE and the APP disappear.

When in doubt, throw it out.
Completely uninstall VFP and reinstall it with the options you require. Sometimes the VFP setup gets hosed on partial reinstalls.
