Actually, Gonz, in the recent "January 1st" (in the FPW 2.6 section) thread I posted some code similar to what Joe Kempel did here. Then, the other day, something Ed R. said in another thread got me thinking and I came up with this. I figured that VFP must know the rules, so why should I bother repeating something that VFP could do for me? Anyway, I post this on that thread too (even though it doesn't work for FPW). I later posted a similar one for that platform.

Bottom line is that Ed got me thinking about this, so some credit has to go to him.
