Actually, I don't have a use for it. It was just a problem. In fact, I posted a solution similar to the one you did (as I mentioned earlier in this thread). However, Ed got me to thinking (and wondering) if there was a better way to do this< g >.

I've always been fascinated by date manipulation. So I'll tell you a couple of stories.

When I went back to college to study programming, in my first course, one of the assignments had to do with figuring out dates. That's where I ran into the aforemention Zoeller's (or Zeller's) Conguence. In other words, the professor gave us a problem and the solution as well. Being a smart a**, I figured I could solve the problem without it (and did:-)).

The other story in this is that I (in FPW) wrote a program to that had to figure out a Liturgical calendar. As you may know, a Church year is very different than a calendar year. Plus you have to figure out all sorts of things, such as the date of Easter.

I guess mucking about with dates comes right after messing with the API for me.< s >
