SBT, being Fox-based, will want to push a lot of data across the wire. Unless you've got a fat pipe you'll want to avoid remote-node solutions.
Your choices are basically remote control (e.g. pcAnyWhere), or a terminal server product (Citrix MetaFrame, MS Terminal Server). For quick & cheap, pcAnyWhere would be the best choice.
