Check your registry to see if you have entries for these keys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\comfile
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\batfile
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile
These are the only keys I found. Each has a few entries. It may require manual entry. Icannot find any setup information or Resource Kit information on this. Once you tell me if you have any/all of these, maybe I can help explain the difference I see here.
