so, the question is: does anyone know a way round the problem? How can we 'fix' the code or prevent the menu designer creating it in the first place? Or do we have to bodge round the problem by letting the designer do its thing and then running the code as a program(duly modified to cure the bug) rather than as an integrated menu?
