>I am using the dtpicker control in some of my asp pages. I copied mscomct2.ocx in my client's windows\system directory and registered it via regsrvr32.exe. Now whenever the client browses the asp page they can see and use the said activex control. Now I tried doing the same thing on another client machine, copied the ocx and registered it, but the browser would not display the control this time. Why does it work on one pc while not on the other? All the pcs are using IE 5.0 and I developed the page using Visual Interdev 6.0 and Personal Web Server. I would greatly appreciate your inputs regarding this critical problem.

Did you check to see if the user had security set to allow ActiveX controls to fire in web pages? I generally don't except with very secure, known sites - ActiveX controls are inherently dangerous ways that can subvert a system.
