>What happens is when you drag a view from one DBC to another DBC, it prompts for a table in the DBC. If you ignore it the Error box pops up.

I'm not seeing that behavior. Do you have the latest version of SDT (5.1h)? If not, download the update from our Web site and let me know if you still see that.
