I looked into this several months ago also with no luck. Since VFP seems to use painted controls rather than actual Windows controls, automated Testing software cannot interact directly with screen objects. I was using VFP 3 at the time and I don't think VFP 5 has changed in that regard. At the time I started fiddling with using an OLE control as a communications mechanizism but got pulled to other priorities.

However, now that VFP 5 can act as an automation server, maybe something can be done there???
