Hi,

I was testing a program that uploads about 5000 records to a MS SQL Server table using a remote view using code like:

use remote_view_my_mssql_table nodata

append brom my_vlf_table

After about 3500 records I get a connectivity error, with a "data link failure". I tried a couple of times with the same result.

I am connecting to the MS SQL Server database using a Virtual private network.

I asked my client to test the upload and it worked without a problem. My client is in a lan with the server.

Has anyone had this problem? Any comments or suggestions?
