Almost feels that way after that wait. And yes, it did come with papers. The thing has to be registered, and came with a "Care and Feeding"< g > manual. The thing I like the most, is that it came with a hardshell case (crib?) as all Martin guitars do. It also has a very unique design for any guitar, much less a classical.
