I am attempting to execute the append from command and I am having problems. I have a Excel file which I want to append into a stand alone dbf table.
I issue the append from 'nameoffile.xls' type XLS command and I am blown completely out of VFP.
The target dbf was created by the import wizard which imported the data from the Excel spread sheet so the structure of the receiving dbf should be fine. The source xls file is not open by another application.
Suggestions?
