>Mmm Mmm. That classical one has a real nice look to it. What a prize. And you used to have a Gretsch eh? Those are top of the line instruments there. I got to play one that my dad borrowed from a local minister (I played in my church's praise band). I REALLY didn't want to give it back :^) Some day I'll have to get me one.
You should hear it< g >. The classical one has a satin finish, which normally I don't care for. In this case, however, since it has the aging toner, it is a beautiful looking instrument. The steel string one is a gem too. Of course, anytime you say "Martin Guitar" you know you're talking about a quality instrument, that's easy to play and has a wonderful tone.
I really hated to sell it, but I was out of work, and had a pregnant wife so...I think I paid $400.00 for it in 1967. Now, they're no longer made and would cost a small fortune.
