Have you turned off "Debug Info" before building the project? In a distributed run-time, you probably don't want debug info turned on, leaving it on increases the .EXE size. If you don't know, you find the debug info check box on the Project menu - Project Info... option - Project tab of the dialog.

>We have built an application that has swelled to over 9MB. Much of this code is base classes which could be moved to a DLL and wouldn't require much changing down the road. We were considering creating a VFP DLL for that and wanted to know if any of you have done this, how it affected performance, if at all and pointers on what should be considered before doing it. Thanks for your input.

The best thing about having my own business is that
I get to choose which 20 hours a day I get to work!
