How do you mean 'OK'? Do you have field-level validations defined for the record in your .DBC? If so, pull the records into an intermediate table with the same field names, and extract the field validation rules from he DBC, testing them against the fields in the intermediate table. If they pass, then append the record imported into the intermediate table; they're 'known to be good' according to the rules you've established for the live table in you .DBC.
