Andrey,
It's limitating if a modal form returns just one parameter. Generally what I want to get from a modal is more than one parameter. So give it something that it can also play and fill. It could be a custom object with an array to fill in retvals or even calling form (generally custom oApp application object). It could be variable(s) created during calling too. Modal form then would have freedom to interact with its caller (ie:I like to refresh my Caller based on modal's new value before it returns).
