Are these the MS ActiveX or some other third-party controls? Are you sure they are the latest versions? VFP5 or VFP6? Does the crah occur on the opening/closing of the second form ~20 times? Does the first form stay up the whole time? What if you for testing purposes provided a regular VFP command button to launch the child form and see if that makes a difference.
