Try HOWTO: Detect and Fix Database Corruption Errors in SSafe. It's a little dated, but.... They recommend running Analyze every one to three months -- in your case, it sounds like that's too long. :-) You might also want to check INFO: Error Messages from Analyze Tool of Visual SourceSafe.
