I had excellent success using DynaZIP, a 3rd-party utility that works well with VFP. It packs/extracts archives, including standard zip format. Drop the ActiveX control on a form and go to town. It can display progress thermometers, etc. w/o having to program them yourself. I'm sure Hallogram carries it. In case you don't feel like reinventing the wheel, check it out.

But, preferred over the .exe files, I'd rather unpack them with the DLL variants. I have read the documentation but have had no luck so far in transforming the C structure given into a FoxPro accessible structure.
