>>Let me restate - software pirates and thieves, pondscom or worse, and desrve to rot and writhe in agony. The software developer who pirates software so that he can make money is the worst kind of hypocrit - he believes he's entitled to profit from his work (and in reality from other people's work that he can steal) while other software authors are not. These people should be gang-raped with splintery wooden sticks as the prelimiany to their real punishment.

>I agree with your views on piracy, but really, get a grip!
Get a grip yourself; these people are the lowest form of life on the face of the earth, and should be eradicated. Sterilization to keep their genes out of the next generation's gene pool is by no means an excessive measure. They give the profession of programmer a bad name, and are at the root of the public perception of our industrythat our profession is populated with uncredible, unethical, morally degenerate individuals.
I have no reason to modify my position. I will continue to explicitly call to task anyone who pirates software. I don't deal with clients who pirate software. I don't pirate software. And I do what I can to make people who're affected by these low-lives aware of their activity. I'd turn in my mother to the SPA.
