It's a piece of tax legislation which will come into force in the UK in April this year.

IR35 is a proposal from the UK government to bring in legislation which may affect the way that the majority of UK Contractors provide their services to clients. The potential outcome of this legislation may mean that contractors have to change the whole way that they run their companies. This may mean that contractors have to be paid on a PAYE basis either directly with the client, or via their agency.
