Write a small exe that checks the versions of the two files (See the AGETFILEVERSION() or the FDATE() function). If the file need to get copied use a COPY FILE command, and start it with a !/nMyApp command.

To hide the main Visual FoxPro window of the small exe, include a config.fpw in the small exe with the line SCREEN=OFF
