If I use the Label Wizard, FoxFont does not show as a choice. If I programatically put FoxFont in the FontFace field of the .lbx, some other font will print. I've checked the win.ini file for any font substitutions that might explain this but FoxFont is not mentioned.

What I'm looking for is a Text Only Fixed Width font that text only printers can use as well as regular printers. Any suggestions as a good default font to fit this bill?

George and Fred,

It looks like I will have to use a TT font since I can't seem to find anything else at the moment. I still don't have a firm handle of what these "Text Only"
printers like Bryce, Rena, Pitney Bowes, etc. need or can do.

I looked at both Courier New and FoxPrint. I was under the impression that for a font to be Fixed Width the FONTMETRIC() 6 and 7 (average width and
max width) had to be the same. I get readings of 7 and 8 from both of them. Maybe this is just a new VFP 6 quirk. 7and 8 are problably close enough.

Thanks for the feed back. You can tell that I'm out of water here with fonts and printers and it is finally getting to the point of frustration trying to solve what I
though was going to be a simple problem.
