My experience is only with Web Connection, so I can't give an objective view of FoxWeb. Your answer, I think, lies somewhere in the analysis of just what you want to accomplish. So far, I have found very few limitations to what I can do with WC.
Anything web-ish that I have attempted so far could be done easily with this excellent product, and the support (both from Rick and from the WC community) is abundant, fast, and accurate.
I'm sure you'll hear from some FoxWeb users, but my recommendation is get WC as fast as you can and start working with it. (You can download a working demo that you can begin building your project with as a prototype). Get over the install and first day or two of grasping concepts, and you'll be one your way.
One suggestion is to take the examples that are installed by default and add your own queries right into that default.htm, cutting and pasting from the examples, and hardcoding paths to your data. You'll be putting data on the web in minutes that way. Later you can back up, create your own project, and do it right.
