There are a number of ways to do this with Word automation; if you have VFP6, you might want to look at the FFC MailMerge class for a simple example of how Fox works with MS Word's MailMerge facility.

There have been a number of good articles on Word automation from VFP; John Petersen's artciles in FoxTalk might be of interest to you. You can download the artciles with source code from www.pinnacle.com/foxtalk for $5/article i you don't have an electronic subscription. People with an electronic subscription to FoxTalk have unlimited access to the back article database, and from my POV, it's a very worthwhile investment. There are also samples of Word automation here on UT in the Files Section.
